It was good to take a little break from the Chapel Project and paint some blood for the blood god beserker world water freaks!
Im loving how the Expeditionary Force is coming together. They’re all a little odd, eccentric and quite different to anything else I’ve put together. I can’t explain it but they have a certain feel/vibe about them. Kind of steampunk-ish and outgard-ish and Blackadder (goes forth) ish hahaha.
I don’t know. All I know is they’re bloody fun to put together let me tell ya.
Alright enough of the waffle.
Here they are starting with another Servitor. This one is more of a pack/workhorse. I’ve called him Clyde. Let’s see if you can tell me why?
Next up we have the Major. I love his stance, leaping up and over the sandbags. Very heroic… Or foolish, depends how you look at it guess hehe.
This next chap is a bit odd.
Then we have some good old fashioned grunts.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: You’re a machine! Seriously, I wish I had your output.
I love the servitor (his weak legs especially, you can tell his loads have had an effect on him) and the second grunt, with the skull hat. He’s got a simple charm about him.

Thanks brother. I like the crouching fellow the most. I also started working on a mad colonel. Waiting on a particular head in the mail for him so stay tuned.

You’ll see son, you’ll see. Something familiar but quirky. Should fit well with this little mob.

Wonderfully eclectic crew – I especially the odd standard bearer.

Cheers very much Alex. They’re Empire heads. 6 is my favourite as well. He looks the business.

I like the sergeant (Mc Tavish?) as he looks like he’s wearing a kilt. But all nice.
Cheers Roger.

Great work my friend! I am taking a brief holiday form The Chapel to, but not too long 🙂 I like the dude in image five. He’s full of action and the bits work really well together.

It’s good to pause and get your head out of a project for a while. Then when you’re back in you feel more inspired and motivated. Thanks man
