The mind can do funny things on the dark side of the moon

“I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I
don’t mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There’s no reason for it, you’ve gotta go sometime.”

“If you can hear this whispering you are dying.”

“I never said I was frightened of…….

“CAPTAIN!” – Pluto Man’s voice called out from behind several teetering moon rock formations, interrupting the Captains meandering thoughts.

“Look here, a report.” Pluto insisted standing over the Captains broken comms-link unit.

Captain Aurillius stared up into the black sky a moment longer before he slowly got to his weary feet. “It’s been 132 days” He thought as he walked towards his strange comrade.

“It’s a photo reel.” Captain Aurillius informed his skeletal friend.

“Showing… some kind of wreckage…?”

“No… wait…”

“What in Hades name is that?” Pluto Man asked.

“Does the report give any other info Pluto Man?” The Captain asked, his heart starting to pound in his chest.

“Yes… it says… Run!” Pluto man replied, his mouth agape.

  1. Loving this “great gig in the sky” is it costing you much “money” or just “time”, bet you can’t find time to “breathe” with all the figures you’ve got “on the run” at the moment, what colours are you going to paint them “any colour you like” I guess, but you don’t want that monster to “eclipse” the human figures, you’d have to have “brain damage” to do that! Not sure if anyone else will get all these references, might be a case of “us and them” eh? anyway let me know what you think, I like it when you “speak to me”.

Sorry, seriously have you ever seen the film “Moontrap” your creature really reminds me of that. Great stuff mate, Cheers Roger.

    1. Maaaaaaaate! How I wish, how I wish you were here
      We’re just two lost souls
      Swimming in a fish bowl
      Year after year
Running over the same old ground.

I really don’t know what I’m going to do with them all yet?

I haven’t seen Moontrap but I’m intrigued. Is it as good as The Wall? Remember the shaving off the nipples scene? Ye Gods!

      1. Moontrap is a pretty good film by 80’s standards stars Walter “Chekov” Keonig and Bruce “Evil Dead” Campbell, it’s well worth a watch if you have a couple hours spare. Might well be on the net somewhere.

Evan as a bit of a fan of the odd horror movie I can honestly say the only scene that has actually turned my stomach is the nipple shaving scene!!

Grew up listening to Pink Floyd, my older brother had his stereo wired up to a timer plug, to use as an alarm clock, I had the bedroom next door, so was often woken at 6.00am to the strains of “time”.

        Cheers Roger.
