Evening all.
Meet Captain Tarquin Bolgarr of the Mechanized Militum Odio Turpis XXII.
He’s a giant of a man as you’ll see in the second last picture in this post where he is standing next to Colonel Cicero. To make his legs fit perfectly onto the torso I had to add some sliced up thigh of an Ork which, by default, made him much taller. I like that he is bigger because he looks domineering and thuggish.
Bolgarr is Colonel Cicero’s right hand man and his confidante.
He is brutal, cold and follows his master to hell and back, just like any good dog. Despite his loyalty to his Colonel he has designs on becoming a Commander himself one way or another.
Cheers

He’s a giant right enough but not implausibly so – especially in the 41st Millennium where gene-tampering is easily available to wealthy houses. Liking Bolgarr as well, (not sure if I’ve seen him before or if I have and then forgot but the colour scheme you’ve used for him works really well).

Sorry, got the names back to front – it’s Cicero I’d forgotten about, obviously I’d not seen Bolgar before you’ve only just posted him!

Really like the imposing height on the guy, and I agree with Wudugast- it definitely works in the setting! Great job with these guys.

Thanks Mr Temple. I prefer the big fella but the little fella was more interesting to paint.

Nice work – and of course not everyone is the same size even in the real world! Nice to see it reflected in miniature form,

Thanks Ann. I think getting the photos right is just as important as the paint choice and conversions.

Nicely done! 😀 I like the little details in the costume, as well as the colors you went with. The brassy bits look really good against the dark coat. 🙂
