Le Carnaval Macabre V – Amadeus Goddard

I based this next dandy on Adam Ant.

I plan on painting the mask white but adding a red line where Mr Ant has a white one on his face.

I imagine Amadeus to be the BIG personality of the Carnaval and the Customer Liaison Officer.

Sorry for the big ugly thumbs in the pix.

More to come for this war band.

      1. Haha. I was devastated as a kid when I learned that one of them was called Luke as that’s my real name grrrrrr. Then one of them became the main reaper in Blade 2 which definitely gained some respect from me.

  1. Adam Ant, well that takes me back, was never a huge fan myself but anyone who has Caroline Munro in one of his videos cant be all bad in my books!

(oh and it was “Goody Twoshoes” before you ask).

Should work well as a miniature though. Are you going to do a circus strongman for your little band? and a “Freakshow” would be good too.

    Cheers Roger.

    1. Ohhh wow I like degrees of separation. My mums cousin played in the band that did that song, “this is the sound of silence”. I’m glad you like Amadeus. I was fortunate to have all the bits I imagined in my head. I’m really pleased with how he turned out from the stance to the positioning of his left arm.

  2. Wow – he’s fantastic! I don’t know why but although I’d thought to combine flagellant lower bodies with Escher uppers it hadn’t clicked until now to do the same in reverse yet the result is spot on heroin-chic, the artfully bedraggled dandy. Would make for a great rogue trader, or a up-hive noble’s son spending a weekend hell-raising in the underhive. Consider the idea borrowed 😉

      1. In spite of how much I enjoy any blatant appeals to my ego I think you’re doing yourself down there. I’m just an older hand at this that saw a lot of potential in your early work and wanted to encourage you to develop that. More like Ferrus Manus training Fulgrim but hopefully without the bit where you chop my bonce off as a present for your new boss 😀
