  1. I’m looking forward to some time off from work soon so I can start listening. Sorry I haven’t gotten the chance to yet. I’m so burnt out from everything going on right now (especially work.) How’s it been going with the podcast though? It’s gotta be fun working on it with your bestie. 🙂 Definitely looking forward to getting the time to give it a proper listen soon! Sounds like I’ve got some catching up to do and some good laughs in store. 😀

    1. I hope you like it. I think cupcakes likes it but I’m not sure if she’s been listening to each episode. The whole format is two mates driving around drink coffee and talking crap but it’s a lot of fun. I’d love to know what you think once you get a chance to have a listen. I hope things at work settle down for you

      1. I’ll have to di out my old photos. TBH I’m getting too fat to be climbing in and out of old buildings… mostly.

The Podcast are great- reminds me of a good old road trip. Just frustrating you can’t join in the banter….

  2. I’ll be honest I struggled a bit on the first one, probably because of getting used to you both and the multitude of topics (normally I listen to fairly focussed podcasts). So I skipped the second and loved the third (Star Wars who wouldn’t). Currently half way through the 4th and still getting funny looks on the train for pissing myself at the daughter dating section.
I’ll probably now be going back to the second 😀.

    1. Haha thanks for persisting. I guess it’s not to everyone’s taste but if we can make you giggle a bit it’s mission accomplished for us. At times we can be very focused and in episode 2 introduce the “magic box” which is topic driven so a little more focus with that. I’m keen to have the magic box in most episodes as I think a little direction is good but at the same time I do like the free flowing chat and laughs hehe. Thanks for listening mate, we really appreciate it. Please share it and spread the word of you can. We need all the help we can get hehe.

      1. Giggle may be an understatement. I think it was the homosexual comment that made me burst out laughing on the packed train. I also really enjoyed Ep4. Oak island was something I’d watched a number of programs on, as who doesn’t like pirates (especially one eyed willy 😉) and the cave dudes bit was really interesting. I’m really enjoying it.

      2. I’ve since listened to the 2nd cast and finished off the first one (train delays!) and I actually really like the format (and your tragic box). It was just different to other casts I’d listened to so took a bit to get into it. But I’m glad to hear your humour, banter and film loves are very similar to my group of mates. Makes it very relatable 😀
        P.S where’s the photo of Jarro(?)/Yarrow? Junction

  3. I’m a podcast listener for three years now as I started to listen back when I was working on my art projects at college (distractions all the time lol), now I listen on bus trips and doing art in my spare time. So far I’ve listened to all of your episodes, each one better than the last. It’s had a positive influence on me during a time of uncertainty and general gloom.

I’ve really enjoyed The Fly On The Wall podcast so far as I find the topics that you and Warren discuss to be really interesting. From Chernobyl to your own band, each episode has a lot of insightful stuff from both perspectives.

If you it’s possible by you, Lord Warren and mighty Rohan, may I suggest a few ideas for the magic box?

    – James Herbert, if Warren doesn’t know him this could be a great time to discuss the world of James Herbert (just be careful not to mention that yellow fog that’s been floating about….)
    – The Kray Twins
    – Your favourite history subject
    – Ned Kelly
    – Chopper
    – Favourite books and which book changed your perception on life/ or inspired you
    – If you both were survivors in a Mad Max world/ post apocalyptic world, what would you do?

    Keep up the smashing work!

    1. This comment has made my day my friend. You know we make these podcasts in the hope that someone will get something out of them. We get a lot out of them ourselves, making and listening but to hear it’s had such a great effect on you while you’re feeling gloomy is great. I love all your suggestions and we will discuss each and everyone you’ve listed. Thank you so much for listening and commenting mate. Really appreciate it.
