I had about three hours on the beast today and did some more base colours, plus I started some details like pustules haha. I also did some more washes and dry brushing but what I’m most proud of is the statue chained to the God Of Taints back. Instead of dry brushing I used a stippling effect and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.

I’m also pleased with how the putty at the bottom of the statue turned out. It looks like a broken statue which was the whole idea haha.
I’m glad, according to the last preview, that you’re enjoying the Work In Progress posts on this bad boy. At a guess I’d say there will be another 3 or 4 preview posts before the big reveal.
Some of you may have noticed a little screw up on episode 32 of my podcast. The second half was a repeat of episode 31. In the words of the great man Homer Simpson DOH! Haha. It’s fixed now so feel free to re-listen or just leave a bad review haha.
Cheers

Yep that is some top notch work on the statue, you should be justifiably proud of that, can out a treat.
Did notice the slight cock up with the second half of the pod cast (you didn’t even repeat my comment, so knew it must be a mistake! 😉 will have to re-listen to it now, so this is how you plan to get your listener figures up is it!
Cheers Roger.

Yep another nice WIP post and the beast continues to look good. Like the fact that you are now spending more time painting, the results show and you must be pleased. Not saying things were bad previously you understand just that now the results are even better. I did pick up on podcast error but just put it down to me going senile! 🤣🤣

Great use of the AOS Siggy-statue!
Nice rust-effects on the chain. Can only agree with the others about how the stone looks top-notch.

I was chuffed with how the statue turned out. It was a fairly simple way to do it too.
